Opened in 2004 by Kathy Kriger, a former American diplomat, Rick's Café channels the spirit of the film Casablanca inside a townhouse in the old medina, opposite the port. The menu blends Moroccan and international influences, a pianist plays in the evening, and the venue remains one of the rare Casablanca tables where the experience matters as much as the plate. A staged dinner spot, not a quick lunch.
