From Imlil, 90 min from Marrakech, several certified guides run day excursions through the Berber valleys: hikes up to the Sidi Chamharouch waterfalls, pastoral loops in the Azzaden valley, or a first taste of Djebel Toubkal for trained hikers. We recommend always going through a local Bureau des Guides — they know the conditions and the culture, and the income stays in the valley.
