Morocco 2030 Stadiums
Morocco's confirmed and candidate venues for the 2030 FIFA World Cup: capacities, renovations and how to reach each stadium.
Morocco is co-hosting the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal. The country plans to host matches across six cities: Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Agadir and Fes. Each venue is undergoing major renovation or, in the case of Casablanca, a brand-new world-class construction.
This independent guide gathers publicly available information on Morocco's stadiums for 2030. Capacities, delivery dates and final configurations should always be verified against official sources (FRMF, ministry, FIFA).
Grand Stade Hassan II (Casablanca)
Located in Benslimane, northeast of Casablanca, the Grand Stade Hassan II is the flagship project: planned capacity around 115,000 seats — which would make it the largest football stadium in the world. It is designed to host major 2030 World Cup matches, potentially the final.
Access is planned via the Casablanca–Rabat motorway and future rail links. Always check official shuttle options before each match.
Stade de Marrakech
Marrakech's Grand Stade, opened in 2011, is being renovated to meet 2030 FIFA standards. Capacity around 45,000. It sits north of the city, 15–25 minutes by taxi from the medina depending on traffic.
Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah (Rabat)
Rabat's historic venue is undergoing an almost complete rebuild, with a target capacity of around 68,000–70,000. Located in the Al Irfane district, it will be reachable by tram and by rail from Casablanca and Tangier.
Stade Ibn Batouta (Tangier)
Tangier's stadium, about 10 km from the centre, is being renovated to seat around 75,000. Access from the city centre by taxi or event shuttles. The Al Boraq high-speed train makes arrival from Casablanca and Rabat easy.
Stade Adrar (Agadir) & Stade de Fes
Agadir and Fes complete the line-up of host cities. The Adrar Stadium (Agadir) and the Fes Sports Complex are being renovated to international standards. Planned capacities between 45,000 and 50,000 each.
Practical tips for attending a match
Book accommodation in the host city very early — hotel capacity is limited. Plan to reach the stadium at least two hours before kick-off for security checks. Tickets are never sold on this site: only official FIFA channels are reliable.
Combine multiple cities using the Al Boraq train (Tangier – Rabat – Casablanca) and classic ONCF lines to Marrakech and Fes.
