Agadir in 2030
Sun, Atlantic Ocean and modern resorts: Agadir is Morocco's beach and family gateway.
Rebuilt after the 1960 earthquake, Agadir is today Morocco's beach capital. Its long golden sand beach, busy promenade and year-round mild climate make it ideal for families and sun seekers.
For 2030, Stade Adrar will host World Cup matches. The region also offers direct access to Taghazout surf and the spectacular landscapes of Paradise Valley.
The beach and corniche
Agadir Bay stretches for nearly 10 km of fine sand. The seafront promenade is safe and well-lit, perfect for walks. Plenty of cafes, fish restaurants and beach clubs.
Surf, Taghazout and day trips
Twenty km north, Taghazout is one of North Africa's top surf spots, with schools for every level. Inland, Paradise Valley offers natural pools in the gorges, perfect for a day trip.
