Morocco World Cup 2030 match-day guide
A realistic preparation framework before final rules are published: transport, timing, documents and contingency.
What you can prepare now
You can already prepare the match-day logic: stay in a well-connected area, reach the city early, keep tickets and documents accessible and leave a large buffer. Exact 2030 rules on bags, gates, opening times and mobile ticketing must wait for official publication.

The day before the match
Confirm the official kick-off time, exact stadium, route from accommodation to the access area and your phone battery. Save hotel details and transport information offline.
If you are coming from another city, arriving the previous day is more robust than a tightly timed same-day rail or flight connection.
Arriving around the stadium
Traffic perimeters can differ from normal days. A taxi may not be allowed to drop you at the closest entrance. Organisers may also create dedicated shuttles or pedestrian approaches.
Wait for official transport maps before choosing a final drop-off plan.
Ticket and phone
Buy only through authorised FIFA channels. The exact 2030 ticket-delivery format has not been published, so do not assume the 2026 mobile-ticket process will be identical.
Keep the phone charged, consider a power bank if venue rules allow it and protect your account credentials.
Permitted items and screening
Rules for bags, bottles, batteries, cameras or flags will be tournament- and venue-specific. A list from another competition should not be treated as a 2030 rule.
When official A–Z stadium guides and entry rules are published, this page will link directly to them.
After the final whistle
Stadium exits create a surge in taxis, public transport and road traffic. Do not schedule an inter-city departure too tightly. An extra night in the host city may be more comfortable than racing to a station.
Match-day checklist
Confirm kick-off, stadium and gate when available.
Charge the phone and keep a backup option.
Save the hotel-to-stadium route offline.
Reach the city early if travelling from another region.
Read the official prohibited-items list the day before.
Plan the post-match return before leaving for the stadium.
FAQ
How early should I arrive?+
2030 gate-opening times are not published yet. Leave a large buffer and follow official instructions when they become available.
Will tickets be mobile-only?+
The exact 2030 format is not published. Do not assume the 2026 process will be reused unchanged.
Can I travel from another city on match day?+
It may be possible depending on timing, but tight same-day transfers add risk. Arriving the previous day is more robust.
