The Agadir and Souss region is the world's cradle of the argan tree. Several certified women's cooperatives (organic, fair trade) produce food-grade and cosmetic argan oil of high quality, with a direct social impact on Berber women. A cooperative visit shows the traditional cracking, roasting and extraction.
