The 2030 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by Morocco, Portugal and Spain, with three centenary matches in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. A good travel plan starts by separating confirmed information from details that will only be known later, such as the full match schedule, final venue allocations and event-day transport systems.
What FIFA has confirmed
FIFA appointed Morocco, Portugal and Spain as hosts. Its published framework places the centenary matches on 8–9 June 2030, the main opening on 13–14 June, and the final on 21 July 2030. The complete team-by-team, city and stadium schedule is still to be published.

Choose a travel base, not just a stadium
Casablanca is Morocco’s main air and business hub. Rabat is compact and well connected. Tangier sits on the Al Boraq high-speed line. Marrakech has one of the country’s deepest tourism infrastructures. Fes is strong for culture and heritage. Agadir works well for travellers who want to combine the event with the Atlantic coast.
Avoid non-refundable bookings based only on rumours about a specific match. Use FIFA’s official information first and adjust the trip after detailed allocations are published.
Accommodation strategy
During a major international event, flexibility can be more valuable than the lowest early price. Compare cancellation policies, actual travel time to stations and main roads, and late-evening transport options.
In the medinas of Marrakech and Fes, a riad can be memorable but car access may be limited. In Casablanca, Rabat and Tangier, staying near a rail station can simplify a multi-city itinerary.

Moving between cities
Morocco’s official tourism office states that high-speed rail currently serves Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat and Casablanca. Conventional ONCF rail also serves Marrakech and Fes. Agadir is not directly served by the national rail network, so part of that journey requires another mode.

Tickets
The FIFA 2030 page currently lets supporters register their interest in tickets. That is not the same as a live match-by-match sales phase. Do not send money to a seller promising a specific seat before official sales details exist.
