10 days in Morocco for 2030: cities, matches and balanced pacing

A route with no more than three bases, leaving enough room for transfers, sightseeing and match days.

Recommended structure

Ten days can support three main bases when they follow a logical route. Tangier–Rabat/Casablanca–Marrakech uses the Al Boraq corridor, major hubs and a strong visitor destination without relying on multiple internal flights.

Days 1–3: Tangier and the north

Start in Tangier when a practical flight or ferry exists from your origin. Two full nights let you experience the city rather than leaving immediately after arrival.

If no match or transport reason supports Tangier, use these days for Fes instead. The key is not adding the north simply to tick a city off a list.

Days 4–6: Rabat or Casablanca

Move south on the rail corridor to Rabat or Casablanca. Rabat works well as a compact base; Casablanca is larger and offers the country's main international air hub.

You can potentially visit the other city as a day trip without changing hotels, reducing baggage transfers.

Days 7–10: Marrakech

Finish in Marrakech to combine a possible match with medina time, food and sightseeing. Three or four nights give enough flexibility to move an activity if a match time changes.

If your key ticket ends up in Agadir or Fes, replace Marrakech with that city rather than forcing a fourth base.

Keep one buffer day

Across ten days, keep at least one day without mandatory inter-city travel. It can absorb a delay, ticket change, extreme heat or simply allow the trip to slow down.

This becomes particularly useful around knockout stages, when supporters may need to adjust plans quickly.

6

Choose the third base around your most important match ticket.

FAQ

Is ten days enough for several regions?+

Yes. Three bases can combine the north, Atlantic corridor and Marrakech without an excessive pace.

Should I include both Fes and Marrakech?+

You can, but adding Tangier and Casablanca as well makes the trip busier. Choose according to matches and priorities.

Which route benefits most from high-speed rail?+

Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat and Casablanca sit on the high-speed corridor.
