Café Hafa
Cliffside café over the Strait of Gibraltar, open since 1921.
About
Opened in 1921, Café Hafa is Tangier's mythical café: tiered terraces clinging to the cliff, mint tea in a standard glass, direct view over the Strait of Gibraltar and Spain in the distance. Paul Bowles, the Rolling Stones and Mohamed Choukri all passed through. Very little has changed — that's precisely the point.
