Kasbah des Oudayas
White-and-blue kasbah above the Bouregreg river mouth.
About
The Oudayas Kasbah, UNESCO-listed, is Rabat's first historic quarter, built in the 12th century. Its lime-washed and blue-painted lanes drop toward the ocean and the Bouregreg river mouth. The Oudayas Moorish café, its panoramic platform over Salé and the small palace archaeology museum each deserve a pause. The whole thing takes under 2 hours, free.
