About
Opened in 2014 in downtown Rabat, the Mohammed VI Museum (MMVI) is Morocco's first national modern and contemporary art museum. The permanent collection traces a century of Moroccan painting (Cherkaoui, Melehi, Belkahia, Chaïbia) and temporary exhibitions bring international heavyweights. A serious cultural institution, at the scale of the new Rabat as cultural capital.
